SHOUT!

Psalm 47: 5

(5)  God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

Notice the word "SHOUT."  Many times people have only looked on shouting as being emotional.  Yet if you look at the bible close it is one of the strong words in the bible that will bring deliverance and put you in a position for miracles, signs and wonders.  The word is "SHOUT!"

Our scriptures say that God is gone up with a "SHOUT" and a sound of the trumpet.  This could refer to the ark of God being taken from the house of Obededom to Mount Zion.

They shouted and praised God at the time.  It also could refer to the glorious ascension of Jesus Christ to the throne of God.  Shouting is associating with God.

Psalm 47: 1

(1)  O CLAP your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.

Notice that word "all ye people."  All ye people means that no one is left out, no matter who you are or where you are from or what church you attend.

Everyone is commanded to "SHOUT" unto God with the voice of triumph.  A "SHOUT" of triumph is a voice of a decisive victory.  A "SHOUT" of being on the winning side.  A "SHOUT" for all he has done for you!

HOW POWERFUL IS A "SHOUT?"

HOW STRONG IS A "SHOUT?"

Psalm 8: 2

(2)    Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

A young person just saved can shut down the devil and the enemy with a "SHOUT!"

Because out of his mouth God has ordained strength and prophetic praise.  There is strength in a "SHOUT" to shut down and still the avenger and the enemy.

It is a powerful tool of deliverance from the devil, from the avenger, from the power of darkness.

WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

A "SHOUT" UNTO GOD!

Psalm 35: 27

(27)  Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:  yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Another reason, a BIG reason for shouting is to "SHOUT" for joy. That's right to "SHOUT" for joy. Remember the joy of the Lord is our strength.

 WHY "SHOUT" FOR JOY?

Because we favor the righteous cause of the king.

King David was blessed.  This goes past that King David was blessed.  It brings the blessing to your home, to your place, to your door.  For the Lord is pleased in the prosperity of his servant and you are his servant.

There is another word, be glad.  Let them "SHOUT" for joy and be glad.  Let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.  It is important to "SHOUT!"

The children of Israel crossed Jordan by a miracle, but standing right in front of them was a fortified citadel of Jericho.  It was right in their path to the promise land and their inheritance.

God gave them a plan that they were to take the ark of God, and have seven priest with rams horns before the ark and the armed men before the priest.  They were to march around the walls of Jericho one time a day for six days and on the seventh day they would march around the wall seven times.  All this time they were marching the priest blew the rams horn.

This was not the silver trumpet, it was a hollow ram horn, the jobel trumpet which they blew on the year of jubilee when they received their inheritance.

It was not the best trumpet but a base trumpet.  So it's not how good we play or sing it is the power of God with us.  Something else was added to the trumpets on the seventh day and they went around the wall seven times, the trumpet gave a long blast and they were to "SHOUT." They shouted with a great "SHOUT" and the walls fell down flat.

There it is again a trumpet and a "SHOUT."  When they shouted a door was opened for an inheritance.

A lot of people have walked around their problems, situations and circumstances until the walls are cracked or broken up.  All it would take is a good "SHOUT" for the walls to fall down flat before them.

HOW POWERFUL IS A "SHOUT?"

1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18

(16)  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(17)  Then we which are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the lord.

(18)  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

God went up with a "SHOUT" and he is coming back with a "SHOUT."

All the cemeteries will give up the dead.  All those that are saved will be brought back to life.

 SHOUTING MAKES THE DEAD ALIVE!

IF JESUS SHOUTED WE NEED TO "SHOUT!"

WE "SHOUT":

1.  Because we're winning.

2.  Because it stops the devil.

3.  Because it brings on prosperity.

4.  Because it makes the walls fall down flat.

5.  Because it gives life.

AND BEST OF ALL WE "SHOUT" BECAUSE WE HAVE SOMETHING TO "SHOUT" ABOUT!
